Cheap Laser Printers

These days, many offices are moving from ink jets up to cheap laser printers. Years ago, laser printers were a luxury item that only the most high end offices could afford. Now, they are very common and have come dramatically down in price. Many are available between $100 and $200, and you can even find some on sale for less than $100. Even cheap laser printers have some great benefits over ink jet printers. Most importantly, they usually print very fast, are quite quiet and can print very high quality text. They may not be as good for printing photos and pictures, but the ink jet will have a hard time producing text documents that match a laser, and these types of print outs are the most common by far in many business offices.

If you need a really cheap laser printer, you can also look into buying one used. They are so common these days that you can easily find them on eBay or being sold on craigslist in your local area. Unless you have time to do a lot of research and careful correspondence, buying a printer in person is probably easier since you can judge the condition and take a close look before committing to buying it. eBay is harder for non experts since the seller may not accurately talk about the condition, and it can be hard to see much of anything through small photos available online. Most offices absolutely love their laser printers for printing out text documents.
